Privacy policy

Noticeable · Last updated June 2026 · Effective immediately

We collect only what we need to do our job. We don't sell your information. We don't share it with people who have no business seeing it. Here's the full picture, in plain English.

Who we are

Noticeable is a career document service that produces polished resumes, cover letters, and 30-60-90 day strategic plans. We operate as a Canadian business and are subject to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.

When this policy says "we," "us," or "Noticeable," it means the business operating at noticeable.so. Questions go to hello@noticeable.so.

What we collect and why

We collect information in three ways: what you give us directly, what we collect automatically, and what we receive from payment processors.

  • Your name and email address — to deliver your documents, send receipts, and communicate about your order.
  • Your resume and the job description you upload — to produce the documents you paid for. These are the raw materials of our service.
  • Career details you share in the intake form (goals, tone preference, salary range) — to tailor the output to your situation. This is optional context, not required information.
  • Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
  • Basic usage data (pages visited, browser type, referring URL) — collected automatically via standard web analytics to understand how people find us and where the experience breaks down.
  • Your email address, if you subscribe to our newsletter — used only to send the content you signed up for.

We do not collect information we don't need. We don't ask for your phone number, your LinkedIn URL, or your date of birth. If a future feature requires additional data, this policy will be updated before that feature goes live.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Produce and deliver the documents you ordered.
  • Send transactional emails — payment confirmation, intake link, delivery notification, and a brief follow-up three days after delivery.
  • Send marketing emails, if you opted in (newsletter subscribers only). Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
  • Improve our service — understanding what kinds of resumes and job descriptions we receive helps us improve our document quality.
  • Comply with legal obligations if required.

We do not use your resume or job description to train AI models. The documents you upload are used solely to produce your order.

Who we share your information with

We work with a small number of service providers to run Noticeable. Each one receives only the information they need to do their specific job:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Your card data lives with them, not us.
  • Cloudflare R2 — secure file storage for uploaded resumes and delivered documents. Files are stored with 14-day expiry on download links.
  • Resend — transactional and marketing email delivery.
  • HubSpot — customer relationship management. Contact records (name, email, order status) are stored here to manage our relationship with you.
  • Anthropic (Claude) — AI-assisted document generation. Uploaded documents and intake form responses are processed through Claude's API to produce your deliverables. Anthropic's API usage policies apply.

We do not sell your information to third parties. We do not share your information with advertisers. We do not share your resume or job description with other employers, recruiters, or any party outside the service providers listed above.

How long we keep your information

  • Uploaded resumes and job descriptions: deleted from active storage 30 days after your order is delivered.
  • Delivered documents: available via download link for 14 days. After that, links expire and files are deleted.
  • Order records (name, email, tier, delivery date): retained for 12 months for customer service and dispute resolution purposes, then deleted.
  • Newsletter subscriber emails: retained until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribing removes you immediately.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA and applicable provincial legislation, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Withdraw consent and request deletion of your information, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you believe your rights have been violated.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@noticeable.so with the subject line "Privacy request." We'll respond within 30 days.

Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of cookies for analytics and to remember your session. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. You can disable cookies in your browser settings — the site will still function, though some features may behave differently.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to how we collect or use your information, we'll update this page and, for newsletter subscribers, send an email notification at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
